This mildly flavored, yellow-skinned onion is an all-purpose onion that is delicious either raw or cooked. The candy onion is generally a large, softball sized, globe-shaped onions, with a mild onion flavor and firm crispy yellow flesh. Candy onions caramelize beautifully when chopped and sautéed.
Storing: Keep these onions in a cold, dark place. If you have space in the frig, great! If not, as dark and as cold as you can. With proper storing, these onions will keep crisp and firm for about three months after harvest.
